Tiie Arahnra arrived yesterday afternoon from Auckland and was tendered at 1.30 p.m. for inward passengers, who were taken off by the Tuatea and then transferred at the river entrance to the Harbor Board’s launch, which arrived at the wharf shortly after 5 p.m. Outward passengers were taken out at 10 p.m. and the vessel sailed for Napier at midnight. She is due here again oil Saturday from Napier and will later sail for Auckland. Tiie Wanaka, work on which has been interrupted by the rain, yesterday commenced discharge and is expected to sail for Auckland on Saturday. The Koutunui arrived yesterday morning and sails for the Coast at midday to-day. The Mako arrived at Auckland yesterday from the Coast and Gisborne. The Government steamer Tutanekai, which lias been landing stores at the East Cape lighthouse, returned to the roadstead on Wednesday afternoon to shelter, and sailed again yesterday morning. The Tima was expected at Auckland yesterday from the Coast, and is to load for Tokomaru and Hick's Bays and Gisborne: The Wingatui is to leave Dunedin to-day for Napier, Gisborne, and Auckland. via Oamaru. Timaru. Lyttelton, and "Wellington. The Ripple arrives from Napier this morning and will sail at midnight for "Wellington. The Awaliou was to leave Auckland yesterday. She is due here on Monday.
