SALE OF HUN SHIPS.
REPARATIONS COMMISSION SECURES £20,000.000.

Lord Inclicape, reporting on the sale of ex-enemy . steamars which he undertook to carry out voluntarily on behalf of the Reparations Commission says lie dealt with 94 passenger steamers, sailers, and trawlers, and 324 cargo steamers aggregating 2,530,016 tons, which realised £20,000,000. The only vessel he failed to sell was the Prince August AA'ilhelm lying irrecoverable at tlie bottom of the sea off Columbia. “I understand she is to be left to the Germans,” he comments. The total expenses in connection with the sales amounted to only 31d per cent, on the realisation.—A. and N.Z.C.A.
