VICTORY BOND FUNDS. CHARGE OF CONVERTING- £5,000 TO OWN USE. LONDON, February 22. The Public .Prosecutor lias issued a summons, charging Horatio Bottomley with converting to his own use five thousand sterling, part of the property of the Victory Bond Club, on September 16, 1919. Mr. Bottomley, interviewed, said for some mysterious reason the summons was not returnable till March 8. “Why cannot tlie case proceed to-morrow?” lie asked. “I shall conduct the case myself.”—A. and N.Z.C.A.
