PREMIER TO ARRIVE ON

MARCH 4.

Advice relative to the impending visit 1.0 Gisborne of the Prime Minister, had been received by Mr, W. D. Lysnar. M.P., who is in receipt of a telegram from Mr. Massey, stating- that he is arriving at V\ airoa on Friday, March 3, at noon, and intends to come on to Gisborne the following day. Mr. Lysnar, in reply, telegraphed on Wednesday, stating that he would endeavor to meet Mr. Massey at Wniroa. The

weather conditions were, however, •ypoiiited out by Mr. Lysnar in his reand he stated that it might be necessary for the Prime Minister to come from 3[-or ere by coach o'ver Wharerata, in which case arrangements would be

made to pick him up by car this side of Wharerata. Yesterday, Mr. Lysnar received a telegram from the Prime Minister acknowledging Wednesday’s

message. Mr. Massey’s telegram added: “Sincerely hope weather will improve and that all road difficulties

will disappear by end of next week.” In connection with the approaching visit to Gisborne of the Minister for Justice, the Hon. E. P. Lee, Mr. Lysnar states that he has received no further advice. It is. however, pointed out by Mr. Lysnar that if Mr. Lee intends to go no tlie Coast, it will prob-

ably not be possible to do so by car. on account of tlie state of the roads, and a. coach journey would be necessary.
