Huanui, ketch for Auckland, to-aay. Cathkit. scow for Svdney, Oct. k . NOTES The Arahura arrived at Napier at 8 a.m. yesterday and was to leave there again at S o'clock last night for Gisborne. She is to be tendered this morning for inward passengers at 6 o'clock and the only launch for outward passengers has been, fixed for 7 o'clock this eyening, after whack the vessel proceeds to Napier. She is to leave there again at 7 a.m. to-morrow on her return trip to Gisborne and the only launch for both inward and outward passengers has been fixed for 3 p ra. that day. After transferring passengers the Arahura proceeds later to Auckland direct. The S.S. and A. Co.'s steamer Kumara. arrived in the Gisborne roadstead at 1.20 p.m. yesterday en route from Wellington to Hick's Bay. After picking up her loadiug agents, the vessel left later in the afternoon in continuation of her voyage. Provided favorable weather conditions prevail for loading operations at Hick's Bay, the Kumara should complete and return to Gisborne in about 10 days’ time, where 6he is to complete her N.Z. cargo for the United Kingdom. The aux. schooner Fairburn is still awaiting a favorable wind before clearing for Tokomaru Bay and Auckland. The Elsie Mary is also weather bound, at Gisborne and leaves for Auckland as sooii as conditions permit. The Huanui finished loading timber and general cargo here yesterday and is to sail for Auckland to-day. After discharge at that port, the vessel is to load general cargo for Gisborne. The Te Aroha sailed last uight for Wairoa with a cargo of timber. The Port Denison is expected to finish loading and sail for Wellington on Monday.
The- Hippie is due from the South about Tuesday next.
The Awaliou is due about Wednesday next and loads for the Coast and Auckland.
It is anticipated that the overhaul of the schooner War Lord at Auckland will be completed some time next week, when the vessel will load general cargo for Gisborne. The scow Cathkit is expected to finish loading timber at ■ Gisborne for Sydney to-night and will, if conditions permit, sail for that port to-morrow.
The Union S.S. Co/s vessel Koranui is expected to load as under for Gisborne : Dunedin, October 12; Oamaru, October 13; Timaru, October 14; Lyttleton, October 15; and should arrive "at Gisborne about October 19.
