s A MISCHIEVOUS MANIFESTO. DELHI. October 5. At a meeting at Bombay, Gandhi, and 50 other- extremist leaders issued a manifesto claiming that in view of the prosecution of Ali Brothers it is the right of everyone to express, unrestrained opinion about offering their services or remaining in the service of the Government, whether civil or military. More especially, the manifesto adds, it is the duty of every Indian soldier and civilian to sever his connection with the Government and to find other employment. Two hundred armed Moplahs raided a police station at Kuttipuram. Twelve are dead, and five police were killed., Diabolical outrages upon Hindus were reported. They were forced to dig their own graves before being butchered. One was flayed alive because he helped the troops. Two police were hacked to death near Nilambur-
