PITIABLE PLIGHT OF BRITISH SUBJECTS. (Received October G, 7.15 p.m.) LONDON, October 6. ■ The Daily News Petrograd correspondent states that the plight of 150 British there is particularly pathetic, because their nationality excludes them from a share in. the Government rations. The Britishers, consisting of governesses, clerks, and once prosperous businessmen, are surprised that neither the Government nor private organisations have -attempted to help them. —A. and N.Z.C.A.
