The Aralmra arrived from Auckland and Tokomaru Bay last night and was tendered upon arrival for inward passengers. The vessel -is to work cargo here to-day and is to be tendered at 7 o'clock to-night for outward passengers, after which she proceeds to Napier.

The S.S. and A. Co/s liner Atbenic sailed for Wellington last evening at 7.30 o’clock. The cargo lifted at this port consisted of 24,825 freight carcases of- frozen meat, 120 casks of tallow and pelts, 557 bales of wool, and 451 boxes of butter. The Atbenic is expected to leave Wellington for the United Kingdom on September 26. The Koutunui, on her way up from Napier to Tokomaru Bay called into Gisborne on Tuesday night about 7 o’clock. A small quantity of cargo was sent ashore and the vessel proceeded on her way early yesterday morning.

The Awabou, which has been working the Coast on her way south from Auckland js expected to reach Gisborne on Saturday. The Koranui on her next trip with South Island produce, is expected to load as under for Gisborne: Dunedin, September 19; Oarnaru, September 20; Timai’u, September 21: Lyttelton, September 22. The steamer is expected to arrive at Gisborne on September 24 and after discharge here goes on to Napier to land the balance oi her cargo. The aux. schooner Huddersfield is expected to finish unloading her cargo of Australian hardwood timber this morning. She will then take on a full cargo of white pine timber, on behalf of Messrs Cave Bros, for her return trip to Sydney. The Tiroa arrived at Auckland’ on Tuesday afternoon from Gisborne via Coast Bays. Upon completion of discharge at Auckland, the vessel is to load general cargo for the Coast and Gisborne.

The collier Inga is due at Gisborne with Newcastle coal about September 21. She is expected to arrive at Tokomaru Bay on Saturday next and after discharging there comes on to Gisborne to finish unloading. The Tuatea is to go on the slip oni Monday for her annual overhaul.

NEW INTER-COLONIAL SERVICES. DUNEDIN, September 14. New arrangements in regard to the inter-Colonial services have been announced by the Union Company. The employment of three steamers is provided for the Sydney-Auckland and Svdnev-Wellington services. These are liie Maheno, Manuka, and Riverma, which will leave Sydney for Auckland and Wellington on alternate trips, maintaining the '■•present intervals. The Manuka inaugurates the services, sailing from Wellington on October G. — P.A.
