It is reliably reported from Dublin that the terms Mr. Lloyd George of'fered De Valera include: Ireland to completely control policing and Irish taxation; defence to be controlled T>y the United Kingdom, subject to a mutual understanding with the Northern and Southern Parliaments, with the offer of special facilities for recruiting for Dash regiments in the Imperial army.
