ASIATIC CHOLERA.
EFFORT TO PREVENT SPREAD FROM RUSSIA. (Received August 10, 8.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 10. The Daily Telegraph's correspondent at Vilna reports that despite the strictest measures against the introduction of infection from Russia, Asiatic cholera is travelling westward. Eight cases have already been confirmed in one Polish frontier district. At the end of July there were 130,000 cholera victims in Russia. —A. and N.Z.C.A.
