TIDES AT GISBORNE WHARF.

The Araliura was tendered for outward passengers at 7 o'clock last night and left later for Napier. She returns to Gisborne to-morrow morning and will remain the roadstead until after the races, the last launch leaving the wharf at 5 p.m. She then proceeds to Auckland, via Tokomaru Day. The Tangaroa which has been loading timber at the wharf for Wairoa, left for that port last night, but returned an hour later on account of a mechanical defect.
The Putiki is expected to arrive hero from the Coast to-morrow.
The schooner War Jxn-d with a cargo of shingle is expected shortly in Gisborne. Upon unloading here she is to take on a further cargo of hardwood poles for Wairoa. The Ripple is due from Napier on Sunday and leaves again' for the South on Monday afternoon. The Kittawa which was expected to clear from Greyniouth on Wednesday night is bringing a cargo of coal for Gisborne and Napier. After discharging here she is to go on to Napier where she unloads the balance.
