PROJECTED DEPARTURES. Arahura, s.s. for Napier, to-day. Ripple, 6.5. s for Wellington, August 1. Tangaroa, s.s. for Wairoa, to-day. NOTES The Arahura arrived at 11.35 last night from Auckland, via Tokomaru Bay and will be tendered this morning for inward passengers at 7 o’clock and for outward passengers at 7 p.m. (meantime) proceeding later to Napier. The Tangaroa arrived from Napier yesterday morning and is expected to sail for Wairoa to-night. The Ripple arrives from South on Sunday and sails on Monday for Napier and Wellington. The Putiki is working the Coast' on her way South, and is due here earlynext week.

The Avahou is due from Napier at the beginning of next week and will load for the Coast and Auckland. The Fairburn arrived at Napier on Tuesday night and was to go alongside the Ruahine to tranship tallow. She will later return to Gisborne to load for Wairoa. The Tiroa was despatched from Auckland at 2 p.m. yesterday for Gisborne with general cargo. The War Lord has finished discharging at Wairoa and will proceed to Gisborne as soon as the weather permits her to leave the former port. , The Iluanui is having a new mast fitted at Auckland in place of the one that was sprung while getting her off the beach at Gisborne. The Kittawa was to leave Greytown to-night for Gisborne with a full cargo of coal. After discharging approximately 600 tons here she will go on to Napier to unload the balance. The Ivoranui which was due to leave Dunedin last night for Gisborne and Napier is expected to arrive here about Wednesday. After discharging the local cargo she will in'oceed to Napier to finish unloading. The Elsie Mary which left Gisborne at 10 a.m. on Monday arrived at Auckland at 10 o'clock yesterday. Coal brought by the "Union Co.'s collier Kakapo was being discharged yesterday afternoon from 3 lighters while another 3 lay awaiting their turn The Tangaroa was loading timber for Napier and the Harbor Board's grab dredge was engaged in clearing the channel towards the lower end of the wharf.
