To-night Torn Mix in "Western Blood,” and Dorothy G.iSh in "Peppy Polly,” combined with a tremendous supporting programme, will be shown at the Palace Theatre for the last time. Tom Mix in "Western Blood” and Wallace Reid in "The Roaring Road” will ho shown with a supporting . programme at the matinee tomorrow. _ . .. ~ , Tomorrow nigl.it the realistic unci sensational' story by Elinor Glyn, ‘•The Career* of Katherine Bush,” will be one of the big attractions. The novel is known to millions ot readers. A few excerpts will 'bring vividly .before the mind something of 1 lie story as written by Elinor Glyn: "Katherine Bush” loathed most of her family, and was quite ruthless "She was quite untroubled by what the world called morality. She had no scruples.” "1 think most men are devils. Gad—but nine-tenths of the women are fools.” "A woman always loses a inan if she gives way to him against her conscience.” "If you dare to touch me I will kill you. You are only a beast after all.” "Ho cursed civilisation; he profoundly cursed beautiful ladies.” "The unknown goal of all her striving .was revealed at last. " The position of this _man’s wife would be the greatest to be achieved in England, for prestige and -influence. And it should bo hers.” The cast which has been chosen to interpret this tremendous story is one of the best ever assembled. Catherine Calvert, the prettiest stage star in England, plays the name part. All critics agree that no one else could have succeeded in such a difficult role. John Goldsworthy plays the leading male character. Elinor ‘Glyn. in reviewing the play, says it vividly conveys the passion of the story, and points the moral intended by her. The supporting programme includes a Wallace Reid production, "The Roaring Road,” which is brimful of exciting situations and romance. EVERYBODY’S. The final screening of the big current programme at Everybody’s, comprising "Coax Me,” Juno Elvidge’s delightful drama, and "The Peace of Roaring River,” with Pauline Frederick in the lead, will take place this evening.
