Ike following transactions have, been received-through Mr, W. Lissant Clayton:— Following are the closing prices :
KAIRQRO SALE. The Farmers Co-op., in their report on then- weekly sale held at Kairoro on Tuesday, state that the entries were small' hut the market for -sheep showed a slight improvement on late sales. Everything was sold with the exception of one pen of ewes. The market for cattle vas dull, and very little business was done. Quotations were: Fat ewes 24s 6d to 265, empty store ewes 19s to 20s 6d, empty ewes in wool (poor) 255, cull 2-th wethers 16s, 4-th ewes 24s 6d, fresh lambs 12s to 17s. Cattle— Fresh steers (dairy sorts)' £ll 6s, store bullocks £ll ss.
