HOW TO RESIST THE COLD.
Intense cold lowers the vitality, and persons whose constitutions are weak are liable to congestions and inflammations. The best means of resisting the effects of cold is to clothe warmly and to take plenty of good solid food, containing a large proportion of oils and fat. For persons with weak lungs, or subject to colds and chills, the use of Wilson’s Malt Extract with Cod Liver Oil may be strongly recommended. The Malt Extract builds up the system, and the Oil makes the body impervious to changes of temperature. This admirable combination, as a medical man terms it, makes the finest winter tonic imaginable. It is sure and certain in its results.
