FIT A MEN. IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT. EXTENDED LEAVE GRANTED. Press Association Telegram. WELLINGTON, October 16. The Group Commander of the Wellington Military District has been notified that a month’s extended leave is granted to all Fit A men at present under orders to proceed to camp with the January, February and March drafts. Also, any men now under orders to proceed to camp with the November draft will have their leave extended to the January draft provided they apply by memo, to the Group Commander by the 26th inst. This arrangement in no way affects Cl camp drafts.

Major Turnbull, the officer in command of the Gisborne group area, has received from headquarters advice similar in effect.
