TO SPEAK AT OPERA HOUSE ON SATURDAY. Mr. James Simpson,'or “Jimmy,” as the Laborites call him is advertised to deliver his great ‘Labor v. Liquor’! address in the Opera. House next Saturday evening. In Auckland the Town Hall held 3000 to hear this great Canadian deliver his famous address, Mr. Simpson’s remarks being punctuated by applause and his peroration greeted by prolonged cheers and applause, men standing on the seats and cheering the speaker "to the echo. ‘ , "What Mr. Simpson lias to say regarding State Control is especially appropriate to New Zealanders at present, as he has made a special study of this asnect of the question. The doors will oppn at 7.30, and the big crowd expected are urged to he in their seats hv 8 p.m., when Mr. Simpson will begin to speak.
