A mine has been washed asho , upon the beach four miles south of the Manawatu, in the loxton dist! Another miii c exploded by contact with -a rock between Cape laiewell and Westlmven inlet. About thirty-one mines at least lia-ve now hteen accounted tor. Necessary steps have been taken to deal with the mines at the Manawatu.
