Press Association TelegramFOXTON. Sept.. 2AVliyte’s Hotel, a wooden building, was totally destroyed by fire on Saturday evening. The fire spread to the adjoining brick building occupied by Barr, draper, Wanklyn’s billiard rooms, Wall’s bakery, and the ieviotdaleA This building, with the exception of Wall’s bakery, was totally destroyed. Both buildings were owned by' Mr F. S. Easton. There was no insurance on the brick bunding. The insurance oil the hotel was £2ooo' and on the contents £1340. Barr s stock was insured for £2IOO, Wanklyn’s for £350, the Teviotdale £l5O.
