OBITUARY.
MR. STEPHEN NOS WORTHY

CHRISTCHURCH, May 22. The death occurred to-day of Mr. Stephen Nosworthy, father of Mr W. Nosworthy, M.P , in his 90cb year. He was engaged in pastoral pursuits in Canterbury for many 3 cars, and was well known in the early days as a breeder and owner of racehorses, and bred a number animals famous in the history of the turf of Canterbury.' He was for several years manager of the I srk Stud Company.
