A French Eastern communique reports :—The Allies made a successful extensive raid on the left bank of the Struma, between Ortanli and Lake Tehinos, and bleared the Bulgarian outposts from ten villages. -Greek troops brilliantly co-operat-ed alongside the British. A British official message from Salonika states: The Greeks crossed the Struma above Lake Tehnos and occupied tlie villages of Bejlikmah, Katkarasaa and Salmah Kispeki. Our casualties were light. The British further north occupied Rumli and Armanli and captured a few Bulgarians.
