THE ITALIAN FRONT.

enemy drive predicted

Keuter’s Telegrams,

LONDON, April 17. _ German and Austrian- papers continue to predict the imminence of a vast drive against the Italians, similar to that on the West front. The Vossische Zejtung declares that the spring will put Switzerland’s neutrality to the severest test, as Austrian troops are likely to encircle her; securing their spoils of war. It is suggested that these roseate predictions are part of the Teuton prepare their already grief-stricken people for vast sacrifices in the present offensive.
