MUST GET WHEAT -FROM UKRAINE.

The Burgomaster at Vienna, addressing the municipality’s officers, said the word “bankruptcy” might have to be’written-on the door ' of the Austrian food department. Vienna would again be obliged to ask Berlin’s assistance. The Government had utterly failed to realise -the desperate situation. Unless wheat from the Ukraine was soon obtained, Austria would be incapable of holding out.
