Mrs Vowles, of 161 Clifford Street, Ims received information that her son r.’ W Vowles had been reported missinV since June 7th. Private Vowles, u -ho was well known m Gisborne, left with the 19th Reinforcements.

Florance has received word from Auckland that William Sefton- had died at Auckland, Mr Sefton 'was many years ago a constable and was stationed along the Coast principally at Te Araroa, and was well-known on the Coast jn tho early days; He-was recently stationed at- Kaitaia, where he was well and popularly known. ~ '
