DOMINION LEXERS TO ADDRESS MEMBERS.

It is very likely that each .of them will occupy about two hours, for they have a multitude or tilings to Sa ‘They will tell of the doings of the War Cabinet and the War Conference and also of their commercial ne- - gotiation and investigation on behalf of New Zealand. This will include such matters as the purchases of meat, wool, and cheese and the shipping problem , , • ~ There will he no debate on the statements, as members will have their opportunity of reviewing them on the Address-in-Reply debate.

ADDRESS-IN-REPLY DEBATE.

In any event the debate would have almost certainly been long because members have a great deal to say.

ALLOWANCES TO SECOND DIVISION.

It is reported that the Government contemplates making increases in the rates of allowances made to the dependants of married men. This is to provide for the families of the Second Division at the end of this year or early in next year the Second Division men will be going into camp, and the increased allowances will then be sorely needed by the families of any of them. „ , _ There is no hint that the Government proposes to increase or in any way amend the pension scale this session although this is not an impossibility'.
