An official Mesopotamian report says:—We now hold the Turkish second lines southwest of Kut-el-Amara on a front of 4300 yards and the third and fourth lines on a frontage of 600 yards. Nine hundred and fifty Turkish dead were counted, and more are uncounted. We took 127 prisoners.
