Packs of hungry wolves infest the Polesie front. Soldiers are beating them off with machine guns- In some cases the Germans joined the Russians in fighting the wolves. Recently the'" Russo-Germans suspended a hot encounter and organised a joint hunt and drove off the wolves, afterwards returning to their trenches. There was no treachery.
