Oats are firm. Basia Blanca Feb-ruary-March shipment 335. Beans and peas firm and unchanged. Butter.—Quiet. Danish is unaltered. . Little Australian is offering. Choicest salted, 142 sto 1465; unsalted, 156 s to 158 s; New Zealand salted, 146 s to 150 s: unsalted, 1625. Gaeese.—Slightly easier. New Zealand, 97s to 9Ss. Sugar.—Unchanged.
LONDON WOOL SALES, (Received Feb. o, 1.10 a.m.) LONDON, Feb. 4. At the wool sales there was very strong competition at full rates. Cross, breds were harder all round. Arrivals to date, including the shipmcnts on the Muritai and Oraori total 180,500 bales. The Ruapehu’s wool is too late t-o he included. So far 93,000 bales have been forwarded to manufacturers.
