THIRTEENTH REINFORCEMENTS.
MEN LEAVE TO-MORROW
Gisborne’g quota towards the 13th Reinforcements parades at the Garrison Hall this” afternoon, when the Anal arrangements will be made for the departure of the draft on Sunday .morning. , The men leav_e by the s.s. Mako and make a daylight trip to Napier, where they remain until Tuesday morning, and then proceed to camp.' It is not expected that there will be any difficulty in filling the ■quota this afternoon. A few more infantry are required, but these arelikely to be got before the draft leaves to-morrow. The members of. the National Re=serve and the City Band are to take part in the farewell of the men tomorrow. . The actual time, of departure is not definitely' fixed but will be posted on the notice board of the Reserve, outside the Masonic, when available. It is hoped that a big muster will turn out to wish the men au revoir.
The .'following additional- recruits have passed as fit: — ‘Carr, Wm. John, single, laborer. Kaitaratahi. (Infantry.) Green, Walter Samuel, married, butcher, 17 Ormond Road.' (Infantry.)
