The Gazette contains notice of the appointment of Messrs. A. K. Gilmour and A. Tuckwell as members of the Te Puia cemetery trustees.
The Town Clerk (Mr R. D. B: Robinson) returned from YVairoa, where lie has been spending his leave, yesterday.
The following Gisborne soldiers who returned to New Zealand by the Willockra last week, are due in Gisborne on Sunday by the s.s. Ripple:—Wm. B. Bradford (Auckland Battalion), son of Mr. G. B. Bradford, Whataupoko; Alan Gardner (Otago Battalion, son of Mr. F. Gardner, Mangapapa; James Grant (Maori Contingent), of Tokomaru Bay.
