THE STARCHFIELD MURDER

Inspector Gough, in evidence at the Police Court, said Starchfield was released the day after the murder in consequence of police inquiries as to his movements at the time of the murder.

He added that several persons who identified the boy in the mortuary stattxl that they saw the boy with a woman.

The defence indicated ability to show that ;r woman committed the murder.
