A message Jrom Cape Finisterre announces that the Umgeni will reach England to-day. Sealed orders await her captain. Resolutions will be moved at Sunday’s demonstration condemning the deportations, welcoming the deported men, demanding their return to South Africa, and summoning the Imperial Government to withhold its assent to the Indemnity Bill. The Management Committee rejected by.a small majority an additional clause in favor of a 24-hours strike unless the Government accepted the terms of the resolution. “OUT OF IT NOW.” . (Received Feb. 24, a.m.) PRETORIA, Feb. 23. Mr Creswell, who is a Labor candidate to represent Ivrugersdqrp in the Provincial Council, addressing the electors, declared that the deported men were out of it now and, as far as he was concerned, they would remain out. He would fight against party fanaticism until it was cleaned out.* _ None of the audience protested.
