Rev. William Grant, of Gisborne, who, over a quarter of a century ago, was in charge of the Presbyterian Church, New Plymouth, and in l«»y was ordained as its minister, has accented the invitation of its officebearers to preach the jubilee services of Presbyterianism in laranaki in fct. Andrew’s Church in August.
' At a communion service held in the Napier Baptist Church on Sunday, .he Rev J K. Archer announced that he has ‘received and accepted an invitation to the pastorate of the Baptist Church Invercargill, and that he expects to conclude his ministry m Napier about the middle of October next.
A Sydney P.A. cable states that the death is reported at the age of 64 ySSTpf MrT intendent of Technical Education in New South Wales.
