The aviator Pizo-y. with Mr. Fellows as a passenger, ascended at Salisbury to a height of 1200 feet in a Bristol bi-plane. The inlet valve then broke and the flames darted across and caught the carburetter. Pizey switched off the petrol and commenced a steep and exciting volplane. The front seat became so hot that Fellows was compelled to stand up on it. 'The maclune made a splendid landing and both jumped out, and a minute afterwards the tank exploded, wrecking the bi-plane.
