TRIBUTE TO DR. MAWSON. [UNI-USD I'RP« C ASSOCIATION—COPTBIGHTJ (Received May 27, 11.30 p.m.) LONDON, May 27. Lord Cii ram, before the Geographical Society, suggested a public subscription to enable the scientific, results of the Scott expedition to bo published on a scale never previously attempted. Lady Scott had promised the Society her husband’s diary after it had been used in a book which she would presently publish. Lord Cur/.on paid a high tribute to Dr. Mawson, who, lie said, had escaped death after a display of fortitude and endurance a 1 most without parallel in the history of exploration. The Society looked forward to opening the 1914 session with Dr. Mawson’s story, and he hoped"others would be induced to follow Dr. Mawson in mapping out the contour of the Antarctic continent.
