H.M.S. NEW ZEALAND.
DEPARTURE FOR LYTTELTON. [PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM! AUCKLAND, May 11. After a stay of 10 days in Auckland H.M.S. New Zealand left at 9 o’clock yesterday morning for Lyttelton. A. fair number of people gathered to ■see the vessel off, but, as she returns to Auckland before leaving finally, there was no formal demonstration of farewell.
ARRANGEMENTS AT LYTTELTON
CHRISTCHURCH, May 11. To-day at 1.10 p.m. H.M.S. l’yramus, now at Lyttelton, received the following wireless message from the New Zealand: “Please inform all concerned that we shall probably not arrive in time to come up '■the harbor to-morrow forenoon.” The harbor excursions to the Heads arranged for to-morrow morning are consequently postponed.
