The competition between the Gisborne and Turanganui Clubs for the Witty Pennant took place on the Gisborne Club’s green on Thursday, when the Turanganui Club secured the much coveted trophy by 59 points to 55 points. Robertson, skip) 17; Turanganui (Taylor, Hay, Gray and Sawyer, skip) 21 beat Gisborne (W. Pettie, J. Craig, J. Ponsford and J. Coleman skip) 17; Gisborne (L. T. Brown, T. Corson,- W. A. Smith and C. H. Ambridge, skip) 21, beat Turanganui (Ilird, Thelwell, Neil and Martin, skip) 19. JEUNE PENNANT.
