THE MISSIONARY’S JEWELS.
WERE THEY STOLEN. (Received May 8, 1.5 a.m.) BERLIN, May 7. It is alleged that the late Rev. Herr Liebe’s jewels were taken from the Cgonstoehowa Monastery. "Liebe served as chaplain at Ailesis, where be was associated with the Russian monks who were concerned in the theft of a chalice worth £20,000 which was stolen from Metz Cathedral.
