FAILURE TO COMPLETE A CONTRACT. (United Press Association—Copyright.) LONDON, Oct. 10. [n a case where the Aluncipal Council of Johannesburg sued Stewart and Co. and their guarantors. Beard mo re and Co., claiming £400,000 for failure to complete the installation of an engineering electrical plant the. Court Session at Edinburgh decreed that Beardmore and Co. and Stewart and Co. were jointly liable for £115,134, which was the extent of the liability guaranteed by Beardmore and Co., and that Stewatr and Co. were also liable for £225,043.
