BOXING.

Alaorilander Jim Griffin met his AYaterloo at the Sydney Gaiety on Jieb. 11 when Ted Nelson knocked him olit in the 13th round. It was noted before fixe fight commenced that Griffin did not look himself and Nelson had the better of the contest throughout-. His ducking and footwork bothered his opponent- from the outset and only Jim’s magnificent grit permitted the fight to go as long as it did.
