ROTORUA CARNIVAL.

A BRILLIANT SPECTACLE. Press Association. ROTORUA, Feb. 25. Attendance at the Carnival grounds continues satisfactory. The display last night of fireworks was a grand spectacle, and included a procession of boats on the lake brilliantly lit. Excellent entries have been received for the Oddfellows’ sports to-morrow afternoon. For the regatta on Saturday next, entries have been received from West End, Auckland, Hamilton, Waitemata, North Shore, and Ngaruawahia Clubs. Light rain fell to-day, but it Ls now clearing up.
