An anarchist girl named Voltarine Leleyne invited 1000 unemployed Italians,' Russians and negroes in .Philadelphia to carry a red flag to the City Hall, and submit their grievances to the Mayor. Tho procession led to fierce battles with tho police, and a score of shots were exchanged before it was quelled. Some of the rioters used knives.
