THE LATE J. C. WILKIN.

INTERMENT AT CHRISTCHURCH. Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Feb. 23. The funeral of the lato Mr. J. C. Wilkin, formerly managing director of the Lyttelton Times, who died in Pan’s towards the end of last year, took place this afternoon, and was very largely attended. Amongst those present wero newspaper men from other parts of the Dominion and many representative men of this city. A very largo number of beautiful wreaths wero received. [A recent cablo stated that the remains of the late Mr. Wilkin, who died in Paris, had been cremated, and were being convoyed to New Zealand for interment.]
