PROFITS DECREASE BY HALF. United Press Association —Copyright (Received Feb. 21, I.IS a.m.) SYDNEY, Fob. 20. The report of tho Broken Hill Proprietary Company for the half-year ended November 30tll shows that the net iunfits are £137.642, as compared with £305,23S for tlio previous lialfvear. The decrease is due to the tall in the nriee of metals. The company received onlv Ss 9cl per ton for ore, as compared with 20s 9d previously.
