NEW PLYMOUTH, Feb. 18. , Ihe New Plymouth Harbor Board to-day decided to erect a fog signal at the wharves. During the nasi fen ; weeks boats have had difficulty .h----,picking up the pout in consequence ol fogs land smoke haze. The Board discussed the proposed Bill, authorismg tlie borrowing of £300,000, oi which £135,000 is to pay off the expit'ing loan in May, 1909. The balance, it is proposed to expend in breakwater extension, dredging, and harbor improvements. It was decided to submit the proposals to -the ratepayers.
