Cardinal Moran received a great reception, and the town band played on the approach oi the train. Dean Uhditheart welcomed the Cardinal, and the Maori chief Meta Taupopoki welcomed him on helm 11 <>l the Maoris, of whom a large number were present. The Cardinal was driven to the Crand Hotel, headed by the town hand and followed by a largo concourse of people, A public address will be presented to the Cardinal to-morrow.
