Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, yesterday. Tho official report of tho Utility Poultry Club’s egg-laying competition at Lincoln College shows that 1041 eggs wore laid dpring tho week ending,on Friday last, bringing the total to date up to 757 G. The average per pen for tho week was 21.0. The highest aggregates aro : —J. Jackman, silver \Vyandotte, 240 ; H. Hawke, silver Wyandotte, 232 ; IV. Knight, black Orpington, 228’; T. Kennedy, silver Wyandotte, 228.
