(Special to Times.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. Thomas Finch of tho Post and Telegraph department is to got a pension of £IOO per annum from April next. G. C. Chapman of tho same department is to get a pension of £166.

Tho -Friendy Socities’ report presented to Parliament to-day shows a total of 500 lodges, with a membership of 53,759, total funds of £1,057, 821, and an average capital of £l9 13s 6d. Tho number of members sick during 1905 was SlO3 and during 1906 9253 equal to 17.3 S and 18.184 respectively per hundred members. The total worth of tho sick and funeral funds of tho Friendly Socities on 31st December 1905 was as follows:—M.U., 1.0.0. F. £427, 375, 1.0.0. The proposal originated in Wellington, where a conference is likely to be held at an early date.
