ALLEGED SLY GROG-SELLING.

Press Association. , CHRISTCHURCH, yesterday. Edward Dollar was charged at the Police Court to-day with keeping a sly-grog shop and was remanded till Saturday. The police for some time hail the shop under observation. It is near a hotel, anil the licensee was subject to suspicion for a time owing to the number of drunken men about after hours. A raid was made on Saturday night and Dnllar was arrestod, being also charged a« a rogue and a vagabond, and keeping company with reputed thieves. Michael !Foggerty, found ,in tile house when raided, was also arrested. At the Police Court Martin Campbell pleaded guilty to sly-grog selling :t Gladstone in the lio-licenso district, sir. McCarthy imposed a fine of £4O •vith costs, to be paid by instalments if £5 a month. Other charges of ille;ally in liquor are proceeding. ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
