The labor organisations are resolved to participate actively in the forthcoming Tramway Board elections, and it is their intention to put up candidates for et least five of the seats oa the Board. The eleotions premise to be moro than usually interesting, The ohairman of (he Board told a reporter, in reply to a question as to the position now ecoupied by a certain official whose appointment has been the subject of so much comment of late, that the employee had been relieved of certain of his duties. He was now employed as a ticket inspector, the original schedule of his duties having been modified by relieving him of the oversight of the motormen and conductors.
